Founded in 1987 by CEO Andy Berliner and Rachel Berliner, and incorporated since 1988, Amy’s Kitchen took its name from their then-newborn daughter, Amy. All of Amy’s 250+ products are vegetarian and made with organic ingredients. Bristol Farms has collected a long string of accolades since our first store opened in 1982 in Rolling Hills, CA. Local media has given our Carson-based gourmet and specialty food retailer their “best” attribution, naming Bristol Farms the “best small market”, with the “best deli”, “best sushi”, “best meat”, and “best cooking school.” Zagat’s Marketplace Survey also rated Bristol Farms as the number one market in overall quality and service; our stores were described as “a shopper’s beautiful dream with wide aisles, helpful staff, and beautiful presentations.”

We opened our first restaurant In Beverly Hills in 1985. Former federal prosecutors Rick Rosenfield and Larry Flax combined their passion for food with fresh high-quality ingredients to create innovative, hearth-baked pizzas such as The Original BBQ Chicken, Thai Chicken, and Jamaican Jerk Chicken, cooked in an open kitchen. The restaurant gave California a place in the pizza pantheon alongside Chicago and New York. Our California twist on global flavors resonated with guests, and almost immediately, CPK became a bustling spot for business and family gatherings.
