Favorite Holiday Traditions and Giveaway

Holidays and tradition go hand-in-hand! Our family has many Holiday Traditions, decorating our home, baking special treats to share with friends and traveling to see family far away.

Another tradition that is dear to my heart is one that was started many years ago by my hubby. He takes the boys shopping and they pick out a small kitchen appliance for me, but one that we can all enjoy together. We have an indoor S'more Maker, Popcorn Machine and Quesadilla Maker, but my favorite {and I think the boys favorite too} the Hot Cocoa Machine.

Usually a couple times during the week, I get out the Hot Cocoa Machine and whirl up a batch and add some special toppings. Recently we decided to give International Delight Vanilla Caramel Cream a try in the Hot Cocoa. Add a great holiday movie like The Polar Express and you have a great family evening, complete with holiday traditions!

Add some cheer to your coffee or baking this season with International Delight's holiday flavors. Enjoy the taste of Peppermint Mocha, Pumpkin Pie Spice,  White Chocolate Raspberry, Vanilla Spiced Rum or Gingerbread Latte and stir up a moment of sweet inspiration.

Putting up our Christmas tree the weekend after Thanksgiving is my favorite family tradition. We pop popcorn, make cocoa, and put on the Christmas music. My boys get so excited! I try to treasure each minute in December, because before I know it, it will be Christmas past.

Baking Christmas Sandwich Cremes each year. They taste so good and it brings me back to my childhood.

We love making gingerbread houses! We buy the kits at the store and then add in extra candy!

My favorite holiday tradition is going to visit Christmas lights at the botanical garden on Christmas eve. Afterwards we go home and have cocoa and decorated cookies!

We like putting up the tree right after Thanksgiving, and we (in the past) had an annual Open House the first Sunday in December for over 18 years. I miss doing that, but we are searching for another event to take that place.

We all get together the night before Christmas to exchange gifts and share a pot luck dinner. We also love driving around in the evenings looking at the lights and decorations.
