What do you DO all day?

I know we all make sporadic appearances online here and there...but what do you actually do all day? Where do you work? Who do you take care of? What's most of your focus on?

I work 8-5pm, M-F. I go home, take care of  dinner, eat, wash dishes, make lunches for the next day, and then hangout with my hubby and watch our favorite TV shows on DVD.

Most of my time is at work, but that's not my focus.

I don't really take care of anyone but I work for the state as an attorney for the Department of Child Services.  I pop on blogfrog when I need a good distraction from all the madness :-)

Sometimes I wonder the same thing!

I try to get some blogging and emailing done in the mornings and in the evenings post bedtime.  I pick up and clean and do a hell of a lot of laundry.  We do a lot of singing and dancing and I am oftentimes told I need to be the evil queen - and boy can I play that part!  I attempt to to make a playdate or some sort of social activity and every day I work on building furniture or some project and blog my way through the tutorials.  I wish I took a nap - but that just never happens!

Kat what do you do?

I eat popcorn covered in condense sweetened milk and I blog.

Okay that's a lie.

I run a home daycare and run after kids all day. We do circle time and art and walk to the park and all that, but there are tons of intervals when the kids are playing nicely that allow me to hop online.

Like right now it's 7:30am...my kids are all still sleeping (blessed be!) and I have one little girl watching Sesame Street on the couch. :) I love slow mornings!

School runs, juggle 3 under 4, tackle Mt. Laundry, attack Mt. Dishes, pick up the toys that seem to appear out of thin air, run errands, fight for naptime and often lose, PLAY!!!, after school runs, cook dinner with 2 underfoot, 1 trying to help, 2 asking when dinner will be ready, homework helper, bedtime routine,  try to turn on "wife" mode.

I think that covers the basics!

My family says I'm a walking routine, It's the only way I can get things done. My mom has Devic's Disease Last Sept she woke up paralyzed from the waist down. I moved next door to her because her house was to small - we had already tried that didn't work out.

I wake up at 5 AM (mom needs a procedure done at that time) I walk my dog. I get on the computer and play (blog, personal email, blog hop, twitter, facebook, a couple of Yahoo group and Ravelry never enough time)

Work from my home office from 9:30 to 4 I run a software company Cochenillehttp://www.cochenille.com

Then walk next door to Mom (My sister comes and stays with her during the day) I come back over after her 5 PM procedure, Have dinner (which my husband usually has ready) Sit and stare at what ever my husband is watching on the TV. at about 6:30 I try to sew something (since I've been trying to build an Etsy store to some day quit my day job - doing techsupport for a software company isn't all that fun)

Then I go back to my Mom's at 8pm and come back home and to to sleep after Mom 9 Pm procedure.

Those are my days 7 days a week. So needless to say I have come to really enjoy blogging and blogFrog since I found the SITS girls and they showed me how to do it right!

Hey, I'm a college student and live on my laptop! When I'm not blogging, I'm studying and working on assignments.

I go to school in the mornings and after that I head home to cook lunch for my siblings and cousins and then head off to pick them up from school.

After they eat lunch, I help them with homework. Then we spend a whole lot of time to play the Wii, watch YouTube videos and make a mess around the house for my mom to clean. :P

You find me around her a lot, it's all possible because of my Blackberry.

What can I say, I'm a teenager and multitasking is in my blood!

Well, right now I'm studying for my teacher certification so my schedule goes a little something like this:

7:30: wake up and do my typical internet browsing and blogging

8:30: wake up my baby girl who is only 15 weeks but sleeps an amazing 11 hours

9:30: take baby girl to daycare

10:00: workout

11:00: come back home, eat lunch, shower

12:30: start studying for the day

5:00: go pick baby girl up and play time!

6:30: daddy is home and I start cooking dinner while he plays with her

in between all that I do the laundry, clean the house, go grocery shopping, do other errands (appointments, calling people, getting cars washed etc).

8:30; start putting baby girl to sleep

9:30 - 11:30: spend time with the husband...

Rinse and repeat cycle!! haha

I work full time as an Auditor for a local university so I'm at work Mon - Fri 8 to 5.  Actually I usually get to work a little after 7:30 just because it is easier with school drop off and traffic.

During the day I get little breaks here and there I hop online to read a blog, check out Twitter and see what is going on here.  I only get snippets so you'll see me here and there.

At night I'm doing the mom thing.  Dinner, baths, kids, laundry, picking up.... all of that.  I get online after the kids go to bed.

You mean besides lounge on the couch all day as scantily clad men fan me with palm fronds and feed me bon bons?

HA!

Well, my day typically starts at 5:00 am when Noah (Mommy's little 0'dark 30 alarm clock) wakes up and is ready to dive bomb off the nearest tall piece of furniture.  Then I shuffle him and his brother on their buses for school and I take a much needed deep breath and head on over here to my computer.

From there I hop on over to this awesome community where I comment or create the occasional discussion.

I plan blog posts and write them.

Take care of our Labradoodle, Ernie the Wonder Dog.

Comment on other blogs I read on a daily basis.

Exercise...okay, that is more of a current goal to start exercising!

Run all the errands that I can't do when the boys are with me (which is pretty much everything).

Then the boys come home and its mass pandemonium until bedtime!

Then rinse and repeat!
