Site Tracking to Date

Started by Lynda , author of Daily Window {Photography. Photo Editing. Inspiration.} 7/18/2010 1:39:34 PM

Jennifer of She's a Fat Chick provided a wonderful tool with the Stat Tracker!  I thought it would be fun to share stats and cheer each other on, show off our accomplishments during this challenge!

Please feel free to post your weekly stats here, either as a screenshot or copy/paste the text.

If you need help figuring out what all these stats mean, please check out this tutorial I wrote:

Good luck, girls!

Here are my before stats!  I am actually quite happy with them for a new blog.  I added a few categories to Jennifer's version and I'm using Google Documents to save it!

Great idea...although I have no idea what some of those things are! :)

I would say great idea but really our stats are going to grow during this time anyways as we will be visiting one another. So I don't really think it will truly show us that this has upped our traffic because of the improvements we have made.

Hop on over to the thread mentioned in the top post and there are some basic instructions on the first two pages.  :)

I think you're right, but it will still be so fun to track! Plus, we can come back a month after the challenge (and so on) to see how our numbers held up!

I just love statistics and I'm interested in seeing others scores too to see what's working for them.

Please don't feel obligated to share your stats! I realize that is more confidential for some bloggers!

What a great idea guys. Here's mine:

Mine is off a bit because I didn't install Google Analytics until my blog was 2 months old, oh well!

here we go! this is a brand new blog, JUST launched (it's still in the incubator at the hospital but we scheduled an early delivery just for this challenge!)

I've been using StatCounter, not Google Analytics so my metrics are slightly different. Looking into adding GA, but here's the relevant pieces for now:

Page Loads 502
Absolute Unique Visits 254
First time visitors 147
returning visitors 107

Good luck everyone!

Here is mine... lots of room for improvement :-)

I just activated the google analytics so I don't have any statistics. But here are the other numbers and I know I have lots of room for improvement. I have put up the numbers for both blogs.
