Welcome aboard! :) The thing I love about blog frog community is you have a built in blog audience and also a safe place to come to ask questions or even vent from time to time right here on the boards. I've found some really awesome blogs here that I wouldn't have found otherwise. It's just a neat way to expand on social networking if you ask me! *make sure to grab the "blog frog" widgit to put on your blog so you can see when folks pop in to see you*

Thanks Mandy - I had installed the widget before I "really" knew what it was all about -- good thing - it wasn't a "bad" thing! LOL!
Thanks for the response! k

How to maintain a Rukus with a sense of humor.

Hey all I am Brandie and I blog over at Rudy Family Rukus. I am a community leader so if you have any specific questions I can try to help. The first step is to of course get your widget on your blog in a place that all your readers can see. Then you can go set up a community. This step is of course no required but I have found that a lot of my readers like to comment in my community. It is a great way to get to know your readers and learn from them. Any other questions feel free to come over to my blog and ask away. I am happy to help.

I know a couple people have offered suggestions and help, but I am here too! Basically, I look at the BlogFrog as a place to build community for my blog. And by that I don't necessarily mean building a big community forum. I think it helps you get to know other blogs and the readers of your blog. It has also helped boost my traffic (whenever I actively post on other forums).
Welcome and good luck!

The purpose of my blog was to create a forum where women could share and discuss ideas on how to balance their roles as wives/moms/women. Â BlogFrog provided a space where we can chat back and forth (like we are doing now).  I love it and hope to get into more communities with moms!   Best wishes to you, Reagan whereisthemeinmommy@gmail.com

Thanks - Brandi, Lolli and Reagan!
I figured out how to set up a community - but don't expect to have a million new people if I'm not involved in others! So I'm totally looking forward to getting to know some fellow bloggers!
Thanks for the replies and words of encouragement! -Kerry

Hi! I'm Rustin, one of the founders of BlogFrog. Let me just say we have the best users in the world!  BlogFrog is all about turning blogs into communities - and the best part about communities is you can really get to know each other. I've made so many great friends like Lolli and Brandie.   The idea for BlogFrog actually came from my wife. She and her friends all started blogs, but they were always "hopping around" (hence the frog) trying to communicate with each other. We created BlogFrog to give them a place attached to their blogs where they could interact.
