My autistic son is 3 and we have had what I think was one episode of night terrors a few weeks ago. he was just screaming uncontrollably (sp???)  and couldn't be comforted.

I have no clue what caused it for my son.

Sorry I am not much help :(

HI!

My son is 11 with Aspergers syndrom... He had night terrors, "really bad dream" and sleep walking.  We stopped giving him anything to eat 2 hours before bed at the age of 7 (mostly sugery things)  This stoped his night terrors and sleep walking.   A Dr said its not the suger that's Causing the dreams its the late night peak and then DROP in blood suger.. said its the drop in blood suger that causes the brain to react.   Any way it worked for us and the only time he has bad dreams now is when he stays at grandma and gets before bed treats.

Good luck

Michelle
