Favorite Diet Foods!

When dieting, it's so hard sometimes to stay on track - what foods do you cling to that help you stay on your diet? Or, have you found a great recipe that makes you feel like you're cheating when you're not?

Spill it here!

Hi! I'm new here, but I've recently started a new diet. It's the hcg diet. I am only in the first phase which means I haven't gotten to the "good part" of the diet yet. lol BUT, the foods right now that keep me sane are oranges. I HAVE to have something sweet so that helps keep me focused. There are only a handful of fruits you can have on this phase since you can't have sugar or carbs yet.

Next phase of this diet is a little more fun. I can add milk and cheeses back in. I can't WAIT! So far I'm 28 pounds down, so  it's been a great diet to try. I think i'll have to have soem of those of baby bell cheeses on hand... I'm a cheese lover. lol

I have to avoid carbs (except in fruits) until phase 4, so I'm interested to try some options that will help me feel like I'm eating carbs. lol There are these things called oopsie rolls (found the recipe on another blog) that I can't wait to try! They supposedly taste like/have consistency of bread, but are made with cream cheese. That'll be fun to try. Another thing I can't wait to try are almond cookies made with almond flour instead of regular flour.

Ok, now i'm hungry.

Christy - how is the hcg diet going? I haven't heard of it, but it sounds interesting. Almond cookies sound delish, yum!
