Yes, I wish I were famous.  Dr. Kathy Koch recently said "It is not about money, it is about influence."

My kids think I am famous and that is good enough for me :)

Unless I could be famous enough to make some good money to donate huge chunks of cash to my Mended Little Hearts organization and my son's Children's Hospital :) Then I would love to be famous ;)

Hi Mandy, I found your discussion and hope this is what you meant by joining in other's forums (yes? no?).

I'd like to pop in and answer your question.  I would only welcome fame if I could use it to improve something that we, humans, need so much to live better kind, loving, considerate, beautiful people.  I am an educator and if there is anything that I have done, or will ever do that enables me to improve other's lives, than I would accept the fame.  I would only want the fame to continue if I could remain humble and grateful for what I've done and or could continue to do.

No way! With being famous, comes a lot of troubles: Paparazzi, people hanging out with your for the spotlight, greed... the list goes on & on. I'm happy with my simple life!
