The best part of me right now is my heart.

My husband is dealing with employment issues like many folks are. I'm doing everything I can to stay positive, loving and supportive. I'm making a concious effort to be grateful for the blessings and get through this struggle and come out stronger.

Now as they went on their way, Jesus entered a certain village where a woman named Martha welcomed him as a guest.    She had a sister named Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet and listened to what he said.  But Martha was distracted with all the preparations she had to make, so she came up to him and said, "Lord, don't you care that my sister has left me to do all the work alone? Tell her to help me."  But the Lord answered her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things,  but one thing is needed. Mary has chosen the best part; it will not be taken away from her."

Luke 10:38-42

I want whatever the hunger was inside of Mary's heart to always be my best part.

So, my best part is the part that's not there unless Jesus fills it up.

My best part isn't me at all.

My determination to go forth with faith and let my Father in Heaven be my light and guide... no matter how difficult it may sometimes seem to follow it.
