International Delight Iced Coffee Summer Sweepstakes! #IcedDelight

Started by Tricia Nightowlmama , author of The Night Owl Mama - Chicago Illinois Mom Blogger 6/27/2012 7:00:10 AM

The days are getting longer and hotter and at the end of the night after the kids go to bed I'm looking for something refreshing to cool me off. Now my late night snacking has slowed down a bit but when I know I have a long night ahead of me finishing up work I like to grab a tall Golden Vanilla Cookie Crumble Ice Cream Iced Coffee shake.  Let the truth be known I was never a fan of Hot coffee BUT Iced Coffee is a whole other story. When I tasted International Delight Iced Coffee Vanilla Flavor and  added ice cream along iwth few my favorite crushed Oreo Vanilla cookies I couldn't resist.

Ingredients:

3 Scoops of Vanilla ice Cream

4 Crushed Vanilla Oreo Cookies (I like to leave the frosting in the middle)

3 Ice Cubes

Add 1/2 cup Vanilla International Delight Iced Coffee

Whip Cream for the top

and 1 whole Vanilla Oreo cookie

Directions: Add all ingredients except the Whip Cream into a large glass. Blend. Add to a tall glass and top with Cool whip and a Cookie. Use a Straw or Eat with a spoon. Enjoy.

This is my favorite "spoil me" dessert I love enjoying after everyone goes to bed. We can all use a little bit of "Spoil me" time at the end the day.

Iced Coffee is great in lots of recipes, such as: frozen treats and desserts, milkshakes, smoothies, ice cream, yogurt, pudding, baked goods, and even as a sweet sauce/marinade!

In celebration of the start of Summer, International Delight is giving away 1,000 FREE half gallons of Iced Coffee per day for 2 whole weeks (June 21st- July 5th) and one of you lucky readers could be the winner of the grand prize!! How exciting does that sound?

I did pin your awesome treat (hope this is right) http://pinterest.com/pin/250583166737238502/ and my favorite taste of summer is a fresh blueberry, strawberry, peach and banana smoothie. I add half cup of each fruit and half a banana, a cup of rice or skim milk, half cup of lite vanilla yogurt, a couple scoops of protein powder, a handful of ice cubes, and a dash of vanilla in blender. I pour a TALL one and put the rest into small cup servings to freeze into fruit sicles. SO good! (But am rethinking adding International Delight Vanilla Creamer instead of the vanilla flavoring to make it sweeter and richer!) My husband gets them by the SIX pack...no lie!

YUMMY! I love fresh fruit in the summertime!
