When we were told we were expecting twins -- our 4th and 5th child -- many people said we'd never be able to leave the house again. Forewarning us that vacations would be next to impossible and traveling with all of our kids would be a nightmare, they basically wrote us off as only have a house bound future. Not ones to back down from a challenge, we have been on quite a few trips at this point and I think this photo epitomizes capturing some of the amazing, unexpected family moments we've shared.

Taking on the challenge has definitely been a challenge at times, but not taking those risks would be a huge mistake as life is all about making memories and going through the good times and the bad. In fact, it's the rough patches that are the learning curves and make the good times all the more exceptional.

Neither my husband nor I can imagine life now without our twins. They truly complete our family and have added many smiles, laughs and moments we will treasure for the rest of our lives. Many of them on vacations.
