San Antonio

Started by Dani 4/10/2012 2:34:25 PM

I'm excited to FINALLY be able to visit the great state of Texas next week with my family.  We haven't ever been anywhere in Texas before and will be in the San Antonio area.  Wanted to know if anyone had any good ideas for "must see" and "must do" things to make sure we don't miss while we are there.

Definitely visit the River Walk! There are a lot of great restaurants and sites, and we even saw some amazing live performances on the River Walk. Oh, and have some guacamole...it's the best I've ever had. Have a great time!

I agree with Sheri. You MUST see River Walk, and of course The Alamo. Get out to the Lone Star Brewery for a tour. Go to The Alamo Cafe for at least one meal. http://www.alamocafe.com/

I was in San Antonio for the first time in my life last week. It was really pretty! I went to the Riverwalk and Alamo (I was only there for a day).

I'm sure you will have a great time!
