I started a fan page a while back and it's actually been a very easy way for people who spend a lot of time on Facebook to follow my blog rather than subscriving via traditional RSS feeds.

Initially I had it set up with a truncated blog post to auto-upload after I posted on my blog (this way readers still needed to click through to the blog to read the entire post).

But now that the networked blogs application is available, it makes it even easier to have new posts automatically load to FB!

I use it because it is a way for me to connect with my facebook followers that may not visit the blog daily. It also opens up a chance for me to be seen across facebook through others updates when they "like" my page.

I'd love to create a Facebook page that goes along with my blog but I haven't figured out how! How do you make a fan page? Ah, I'm so confused!

Maybe once I get that figured out, I can take care of connecting the two!

I agree with everyone above, having a page makes it a lot easier for people to get a chance to read my blog especially if they do spend a lot of time on facebook.

Here's our page:

I recently put up a fan page for my blog:

Facebook: "Mommy's Home!" Fan Page

Y'all take care and be blessed!

I do have one, actually, but have yet to take advantage of it the way I know I should.

Here it is! The Misadventures of Mrs. B
