Have you ever won a prize?

I have come to the conclusion that my dogs are luckier than I am because in the past couple of months two of them have won prizes! The first was a kong toy that is basically a moustache on a ball. This was the lucky winner of that blog contest, Katie our adopted/rescued Border Collie.

Then there's Tucker who recently won the book, just sniffing around by Kathy Brodsky. She even signed it and wrote a very special message inside. Here is is reading the book.

Kathy has written several children's picture books, so please go pay her a visit and tell her that Tucker sent you. She'd be thrilled to visit with you!

I won a camcorder off of a Heinz ketchup bottle.

I was home for lunch one day and while watching TV, I saw a Heinz ketchup commercial talking about their new sweepstakes. I had just bought a bottle of ketchup, so I went and looked on the bottle. There was a little stamp on it, I tore it off and it said, "First Prize Winner, Panasonic Camcorder. I couldn't believe it, it was a chance out of over 350,000 people. That was years ago, I no longer have it, it was really cool to win something like that.

That's a great prize Teresa! It reminded me that I won a cordless phone with extra handset from SW Bell a long time ago. Still use the phone to this day!
