The RE9 Advanced set is the first thing I purchased through Arbonne.

Trust me, I panicked a bit when I first saw the price. Up to that point, I had been a girl who basically just used Neutrogena on my face (remember this discussion where I basically desperately pleaded for help and admitted to the cheap products I had always used). For most of my life, the cheap stuff had worked just fine. But then, in the last year, I really started to feel like my skin was looking dull, and lifeless, and... old. It was depressing. And nothing I was getting at the drug store was cutting it.

So, I figured what the hell. I would take the leap and try something new. I guess I thought that if I hated it, I could always go back to my drugstore purchases and just deal with the fact that this was all part of... getting older.

I took that leap though - and it was so worth it. I haven't looked back since. I love this line, and what it does for my face. I actually just in the last week had 3 different compliments on how great my skin is looking! I feel so much more confident when I look in the mirror since embracing this line!

I'm a big user (and sampler) of self tanners. After moving from San Diego to Alaska... I realized that one of the things I missed most was always having that sun kissed glow. But with a family history of melanoma (and being the fair skinned freckly girl I am) - regular tanning bed sessions just aren't a great idea.

So... I have tried MANY different self tanner products. Some I have liked better than others. But the only one I have truly loved is the Made In The Shade Self Tanner from Arbonne.

I use it on my face pretty much every single day, and then my neck/shoulders/arms on the weekends - when I'm more likely to be out and about! :) Unfortunately though, the occassions (or needs) to use it on the rest of my body up here are few and far between! I think I've only done an all over application once, but it looked great when I did!

It isn't stinky like some sunless tanners, and it creates the most natural (non-orangey) color I have ever seen from a sunless tanner.

Plus, I've had the one bottle for something like 2-3 months now and it still hasn't run out! The spray design makes it last forever!

It's definitely my favorite way to get a bit of that glow I desire, even when the sun chooses not to come out here for days.

I am in love with the RE9 system just like SIF - I don't remember my skin ever feeling this good, even in my youth (I'm not that old, but older than most of you!)  Eight months ago, I had deep wrinkles in my forehead and noticable lines around my eyes, today, they are barely there.  Before I became an Arbonne consultant, I wouldn't have believed it, but I'm so happy to say I'm living proof!!!

I'm going to tell you about one of my favorite holiday products (and there are oh, so many!):

The Vanilla Amber Sugar Scrub!!  (and, the whole line is amazing as well!)

The scent of this is simply amazing (like no other vanilla flavour I've smelled!), and my body feels like I've shed my old skin!  Follow this up with the vanilla amber body wash, and you'll feel like a million bucks! 

Since I've started using Arbonne body wash products, I've noticed that my skin hasn't been screaming for moisture.  I started looking at ingredients of other products I had around, and discovered a lot of mineral oils and parabens.  Just for kicks I used one of my old brands to see the difference, and quite frankly, it felt as if I coated my body in a thin layer of wax.  Hard to explain, but it sure made me feel good about what I use now!

***I should add, in the Vanilla Amber line are the sugar scrub, body wash, body lotion and shimmer powder. 
 

Is there any sort of guarantee if we buy something and don't like it?  That's a lot of money to spend if something doesn't work out.  I have crazy sensitive skin, so I appreciate being able to return things if I have a reaction.

Most definitely!  We have a 45 day guarantee, you can return or exchange for something else if a certain line doesn't work for you.  It normally takes around a month to see the full effects of products, especially face products.  Because some of the lines are "detoxing" products, some skin conditions take time to clear up, as it takes time for the products to draw toxins out of the skin. 

For example, the clear advantage line is formulated for acne or problem skin.  It takes about a month for it to draw toxins out and to see the full effects of the products.  When I first started on the RE9 line, I had a couple of breakouts to begin with, as it was just my skin getting used to the new product.  After I adjusted, it's been smooth sailing!!

One of the other products I love and have been using every day for months now is the makeup primer.

It is super silky and helps my makeup stay in place all day - looking totally natural and even. I seriously love that stuff!

Plus, that's another one I've had for months that has lasted. I bought a second bottle a while back just to have back-up, but haven't had to use it at all. I just use one pump a day, and this stuff has lasted a lot longer than I thought it would!

OK, another one I really love is the RE9 Advanced Cellular Renewal Masque.

I've always had some issues with uneven tone, or purple marks that would remain for a long time after a zit is gone (so annoying!) I swear using this stuff once a week clears all that up though! It keeps my skin looking even and unblemished, even on the days when I just don't want to put any makeup on at all. It's definitely made a huge difference in how clear and healthy my skin looks.

For those of you with babies, I would love to tell you about the ABC (Arbonne Baby Care) line.  This stuff is amazing.  And, it's healthy for your kids!

In looking at an old bottle of a popular baby soap I had laying around here, I discovered that there were parabens and oils in it.  Those ingredients are occulsive and can cause those little raised white zit like bumps on baby's skin.  Plus, there were artifical perfums as well.  Arbonne baby care has none of those.  No oils, parabens or scents, only botanicals like oats and shea butter.

When my kids were young, they both had (and still have!) very sensitive skin, just like their Dad.  Jayda had eczema, and Cash had rashy, dry skin.  When Cash was 10 months old, he got a stomach bug that gave him diarrhea for a month.  This resulted in a horrible broken rash on his bottom.  The baby care line cleared it all up when nothing else would. I still use all of the products on my kids who are now 3 and 5! 

To this day, when they get a rash of some sort, the baby care zinc diaper creme takes it away over night.  In fact, Dan's skin is as sensitive as the kids'.  He gets facial rashes all of the time, and especially now that winter is coming and the air is drier.  He uses the zinc cream on his face at night and the FC5 cream during the day.
