I LOVE what you said at the end about not selling yourself short! So true, and more bloggers need to do so. Thanks for another fantastic episode!

This was great, Sarah Mae!
But can I tell you a secret? I am terrified of offering my site to advertisements. I feel as if no one would want to advertise on my site, so I don't ask!

I've been an advertiser on your blog and I absolutely loved the experience! My website LifeVerseJewelry.com received numerous referrals from your site. You helped my target marketing, since I design Christian jewelry. I found your pricing fair, your results remarkable, and the resulting friendship priceless. I'm a huge fan of yours- ***hugs***

Thank you so much for posting all of your advice!  I just watched the whole "How Do I Grow My Blog?" series and I've learned so much already!  Thank you so much for all of your time and energy in these!  :)

I really needed to hear this, SarahMae.  I've been researching this and inquiring with some CPM networks, but haven't made any decisions yet about who I am going with.  I'm using Google Adsense right now and that's all.

I'd love to begin offering affiliate advertising with some privately-owned, blog-friendly companies :o)  I suppose I should be brave and make a few connections!  Eek.

Lots to think about...

Thanks again Sarah Mae-

I currently don't have ads... as my blog has been for personal joy.

But I have been really thinking of upgrading my blog and adding some ads.  I like the exclusive ad idea.  Marvelous.  I always am annoyed with the 20 ads in one block above the fold... it's so very distracting when your reading the content- especially if they are blinkie ads.

loving this series!!!!!!

Hi Sara Mae,

I am loving these tips and especially love this video on advertising however you went so fast that there wasnt enough detail on how to do each tip you talked about.

For instance how to you even start and go about getting sponsor post? How do you go exclusive?  What exactly is one looking for when approacing others to advertise on your site. What exactly would you say to them?

Do we need a large following for anyone to want to advertise with us?

These are coming from a compelet newbie LOL.

What does above the fold mean? :)

Keep the tips coming. Would love if you would take more time to explain for us newbies :)

Serving with joy,

Sonya Schroeder
