My favorite was probably Frog and Toad together, because their little adventures made me laugh :-)

I liked the classic Winnie the Pooh books, as I would always read them with my grandmother when we went to visit.

My favorite was "The Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E Frankweiler". My parents never read to me, but I loved reading to myself.

My little boy is really into Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, he loves Brown Bear, Brown Bear too.  He tries to recite it to us. We have not read the other three Eric Carle books that you mentioned.

I couldn't even remember what any of my favorite books as a child were. That would have been in the late 60's early 70's. But I can tell you that my kids love Eric Carle.
