What's for Dinner

Started by Amanda, author of Our Heart and Home 2/8/2010 4:32:42 PM

I am making smoked turkey, dressing, spinach, mashed potatoes, and biscuts for dinner. My oldest daughter made a cake for dessert.

What are you having for dinner? I would love to know!

It's breakfast here. But last night we ate McDonald's in a rush between activities going on. Tonight is another rush but I am starting chicken spaghetti early.

That's a good question... ha! I'm not sure, off to the store in a bit to find something! :)

Breakfast burritos, plain with cheese for the kids, smothered in green chili with lettuce and tomato for hubs.

Bracing for yet another 12 inches of snow, we stopped in for sushi and hot and sour soup on our way home from the grocery store!

I almost always cook a whole chicken on Mondays.  Then the leftovers are used during the week as soup or something for a quicker dinner.

Tonight is chili dogs with broccoli salad and cole slaw. We usually don't do the hot dog thing, but they were on sale at Wal-mart this week for $1/pack...couldn't pass that up!

Smoked turkey sounds soooo good!

I'm debating whether to spruce up the cheesy goulash leftovers or make some burgers. It's far too late in the day to make the stew I had planned for this week so, maybe we'll do that in a day or two!

Up to my husband - either pork chops with sauteed apples and onions, or buccatini with artichoke-parmesan sauce.  I could go for either.  The kids will go for neither, so I think they're having fish sticks and rice left over from the weekend.

Amanda- My kids opt for fish sticks instead of the yumminess I make for hubby and me most nights!

Meatloaf, Velveeta Mac N cheese, Mashed 'taters, garlic bread and spinach...no special dessert tonight.  ;)  But, I think we have enough carbs...haha!
