How early (or late) was your first baby?

Started by Kylie 2/7/2010 4:37:08 PM
Hey Ladies!
I am 38 weeks pregnant today and I was just curious how many of you had early or late babies the first time around!
Thanks :)
Kylie

We went to 35.5 weeks, but it really wasn't as early as it seems because of my short cycles. He was 20.5 in and 7 lbs 15oz. and the midwife said that the main line on his feet would have been much shorter if he was too early.

My first was born on his due date!  None of the rest were even close.  He really gave me unrealistic expectations!

I went into labor on my own and had my baby at exactly 38 weeks with my first.  I was shocked!  He was 7 pounds 2 oz.

I went into labor on my own and had my baby at exactly 39 weeks with my second.  I was shocked (I was to be induced 3 hours after I delivered him!!).  He was 7 pounds 2 oz.

Congrats to you....your little one will be here soon!

I was one day over with my first.
Don't get your hopes up too high yet - it is more common for first babies to be a little late, and it seems WAY longer if you start hoping they'll come early!  Your little lady will be here soon though, one way or the other - congratulations, and wishing you all the best for a good delivery and recovery.  :o)
