Maybe you could just try washing one with bleach to see what happens to the logo? Bless your husband's heart! :)

I have never used it but someone else suggested it to me. Has anyone used it? And does it work for that?

There is a Rit product called dye remover. It is sold at grocery stores in the laundry products isle. I used it after I stupidly washed a red bath rug with a cream one. It worked great! The only thing about your situation is that it may also remove the dye from the logos. But if they are gone anyway it may be worth a try. It costs about $2. Hope that helps.

I don't have a tip of the top of my head, but the woman who writes the "Queen of Clean" books has some amazing ideas for stuff just like that (impossible stains, ruined shirts, etc).
You might try looking her up.

Oxiclean might work, but I think I would try the RIT dye remover. I've also had good luck re-washing the item and hanging it out in the sunshine (for a week). The sun bleaches it out. Good luck!

I accidentally did this to my son's new gray sweatshirt last week by washing it with his blue school tote bag. I sprayed oxiclean onto the blue areas and it washed away!!!
