Do you read the Bible or motivational books each day?

Remaining positive, motivated and on the right track towards the goals set is something that requires constant focus.

What do you do to keep that focus?

Do you read the Bible or motivational books each day?

I read both each day. Sometimes one more than the other. I always feel better and like I'm not alone in this journey of life.

I read the Bible daily. Sometimes out loud for Hubby in the evening. I have it on my kindle now so it is easier on my eyes and I am reading it a lot longer than I used to. I have a few devotional books on my kindle too and I may not read them everyday, but several times a week. I love devotionals. I also carry a 3 pocket sized books in my purse for when I am stuck waiting somewhere for some reason or other and read them. One is the Gospel Of John, one is a book by Joyce Meyers, Jesus, The Name Above All Others, and the other is a New Testament. I have several different versions of The Bible in paper form too. I carried My Senior Bible with me when I spent those last days with my father. I read it aloud to him and I think it helped him and us.

The more I know the Bible, the more I read it!

Yes, I read my Bible daily, a couple of devotions, and read spiritual-based books as time allows. I listen to several teachers online as well. Started doing that instead of watching television lately.

Yes, the book I am reading right now is called "The Fan"  we are doing a bible study on it.

Kristi, could you make a list of the books you recommend? I have found the one you recommended to me was the best.

I have a reading list tab on my blog. Those are the ones I've been reading recently. I'm so glad you liked that book I recommended. I found it to be very helpful. You might be interested in the one called The God Who Sees You. Very good!

I will be truthful, I should read the Bible each and every day, but sometimes do not. I do read it most days. I do pray daily.

Inspirational books? Not usually, there are just too many of those out there and most I do not think are based on the standard I use (The Bible). I like to watch a few inspirational movies every now and then. I have to read so much during the working day that I don't have the desire to read much otherwise.

I think that is so wonderful.
