I know that they have cancelled a lot of the fireworks around the country. Will you be seeing fireworks or were they cancelled by you too?

Happy 4th to you too Red. We had ours on Saturday. Watched some big fireworks through the woods last night, have no idea who was shooting them :).  Tonight there will be fireworks all around us...fun. Stay cool and out of the sun Red!

Nashville has one of the top 10 Fireworks displays in the nation so they do it up big every year. They started last night and will do the big one tonight.

Me? I prefer to watch it on television.

I went to the fireworks display downtown years ago when it wasn't so big and it was too big for me then. I don't like huge crowds and the hours it takes to get back home.

I like to be at home on the evenings of July 4th because of so many drinking and driving people on the roads. A hit and run drunk got my car on July 4th once. Don't care for a repeat.

I have no idea. It is very dry here and I am not sure if it is safe but it is not up to me. The private lake near us usually puts on fireworks for their members. I hear them but can't see them as the trees around us block it from view.

Happy fourth everyone! Very hot but I am thinking of coloring my hair today. So other than that I will try to stay cool by not doing a lot of physical stuff. Mostly reading on my Kindle.

It's in the 90's in my area! It was 96 degrees last time I checked the weather report. Too hot for me!

A bunch of them were canceled in the Chicago area, because of crazy heat, and we had a giant monster storm a few days ago that killed electricity all over the place. Right now I'm listening to some booms going on outside, while sitting inside in A/C. So nice.

I definitely always stay out of the sun!!! LOL

It is too hot! Going to be at least 99°F here today! Ugh!
