The Pacific Coast in WA State, specifically Rialto Beach.
Beautiful beach, down by the water starts with sand, then larger
pebbles then up by the giant logs that have crashed onto the beach,
piled up and stuck there are large round flat rocks. If you
walk down the beach about a mile there is a giant rock with a hole
through it that was eroded by the ocean. It is almost the
only way through the other side unless it is very low tide.
This is not an ocean you can swim in! the currents and the
fact they have huge waves with an occasional giant log in them make
it not a safe place to go for a swim. But it is breathtaking!
