To me, a truly beautiful person is someone who has learned to
love herself and others.
There's the obvious outward beauty stuff - I dress in clothing
that I like, I'm clean, I try to do my hair, but I feel the most
beautiful when I'm not worrying about myself. Like when I've had a
long day with the baby and she grabs my face in her hands and gives
me a "noggin" (touches her head to mine).
Yes. Inwardly, I try to be the best person I know how to be, and
outwardly If I don't appreciate my body now (in my early 20's) how
the heck will I appreciate it in 60 years? I think it's important
to accept ourselves for who we are and love ourselves.
Definitely, I believe that our bodies are gifts from God and
that we are all children of God. He knew what he was doing when he
made us. He thinks we're beautiful, so why shouldn't we think so
too?
